Engage In Depth is looking for individuals to participate in an on-line research study to provide guidance on the development of a new service. We are looking for people who currently do not/do use online banking.  This study is scheduled to start during the week of October 3rd, and would require 15-20 minutes a day over 11 days.  There is a $150 incentive offered for those who qualify and participate in this project. I love coupon sites for lowering my grocery store costs.  The first site I go to is coupons.com.  I love the variety of food, cleaning products, magazines and services.


I know you're thinking, but doesn't it cost to print coupons, so am I really saving?  Well, yes, ink costs, but I follow these rules and I definately come out ahead.


1.  Only print what you will use that week and were already planning to buy.
2.  Set the printer to only print in black.
3.  Select and print more than 1 coupon at a time, if needed and able.  On coupons.com, you can print up to 3 coupons per page.
4.  If printing from a product's manufacturer website, watch the printer.  Hit cancel after the coupon prints to avoid printing any additional ads.
5.  If a coupon prints at the top of the page, flip over to print a coupon on the other side.

Focus Group - 20/20 Research

Focus groups are a great way to earn money in person or online.  You earn more for your time than surveys, however, they are harder to get into and they usually limit your participation to once every 6 months.  They also require more time during the length of your focus group than a regular survey, averaging 30-90 minutes. 

One of my favorite sites is 20/20 research.  They are reputable and pay well.  They have in-person focus groups in Nashville, Miami and Charlotte, as well as online focus groups available to everyone.

Every week it seems like a new site seems to launch offering products or services, even a getaway, where you buy a voucher for less.   Each deal usually expires within 24 hours, so signing up for daily e-mails comes in handy.  I love the ones that are directed at my hometown.  Today's recommendation is Groupon, which offers deals at 50-90% off.  Not only do they have local offers, but I've also snapped up $30 gift certificates to vitacost.com for $15.  Spa deals, restaurants, grocery stores, I've scored on many items.
